Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, a former tool and die operator and factory worker. Three siblings are hers: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered to be exceptionally gifted in her academics when she entered in the second grade at age five. She was a graduate of Saegertown High School located in Saegertown, Pennsylvania, in 1975. The Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone win Miss Crawford County. Stone moved to New Jersey with her aunt in 1977, to explore a modeling career. She did so after signing with the Ford Modeling Agency within a month. The next stage was Europe which she was to spend a year within Milan, Paris and other cities. In the end, Stone became disillusioned with the modeling scene within Europe which led her to pursue acting in Europe while she was there. At 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories," that received mixed praises.
